Emmanuel Guy was selected for the Fall 2014 residency,he spent 3 weeks at LPE in September and October 2014 dedicated to art historians and critics. The selection committee included museum curator and art historian Marie-Laure Bernadac and art critic, independant curator and author Didier Arnaudet.
PhD in Prehistory (Paris I – Sorbonne), Emmanuel Guy is the first art historian to approach paleolithic art from an artistic point of view, meticulously decrypting its formal features and stylistic evolution. In 2011, his first essay Préhistoire du sentiment artistique was published French art publisher Presses du Réel.
